Considering that systemd can only be built with glibc that is much bigger than uclibc that is used by default on OpenWRTand only the systemd binary uses half as much Flash space that is available in my Router yeah, the image is compressed, but the point is still validnot forgetting the dependency on Dbus and you get something that is impossible to use on the majority of the routers in the market because of space constraints.
